A PNW Garden Apothecary: Volume 1
The same book, signed by Jillian and packed by hand in Tacoma. Tucked inside is a packet of garden marigold seed (Tagetes) saved from the garden the recipes came from.
The marigolds are for the border, where they earn their keep beside the vegetables. They are not the calendula in the Golden Calendula Finishing Salt. Calendula is a different plant, and its seed will take over the packet once this year's heads have dried.
Signed copies are a small batch. When they are gone, the next batch takes a few weeks. Seed is included while the harvest lasts.
Ships from Tacoma within 5 business days. United States only, because seed cannot cross a border without paperwork.
A working recipe book for the herb bed and the flower border. Syrups, finishing salts, vinegars, teas, infused spirits and a few things for the house, each one built around a plant that does well in a maritime Northwest garden.
Every plant gets its own notes page, so the book becomes a record of what you made, what you changed and what you would do differently next summer. Ten reference cards cover the parts people get wrong: drying times, which salt to use, and the food safety rules that do not bend.
24 plants and flowers. 32 recipes. 104 pages, 5 x 8 inches, full colour. Small enough for the potting bench.
Printed to order and shipped by our print partner. Allow about two weeks.
